O' Flanagans - 2/20/10 New York City

Photobucket

Yet another Lively, Energetic and Festive crowd at O' Flanagans enjoying the 80s tunes and dancing to their hearts content. This was A Billie Jean Extravaganza as our fearless singer carried most of the tunes as well as premiering "Goodbye To You" and an Amazing rendition of "Gloria". Spiccoli was away on business so Doc Brown and Amadeus picked up the slack, Towards the beginning of the evening I heard a voice unknown to me speaking through our P.A. only to witness Amadeus at Stage Left commandeering his share of between song onstage banter. A group effort indeed.

CRT Lounge 2/6/10 New York City

Photobucket

We performed two sets for the Class of 1988 on 80s night at the CRT Lounge and this crowd was ready for us and by god we were ready for them as energy fed off energy. Lots of singing and non-stop dancing kept us fueled to deliver the goods and I had a nice vantage point to be entertained myself. These photos do no justice to how packed and electric the room was but I popped off a few random "hold the camera over your head, point and shoot" pics even to the detriment of missing my opening cue to Lita Ford's "Kiss Me Deadly" (DONT mention this to the band, I dont think they noticed) .-) Certainly a successful and enjoyable show for all of us.

B.B. Kings Blues Club - 1/8/10 New York City

Photobucket

They say third times a charm and in our case it was, aside from B.B. King's gracious sound technicians and charming wait staff (not to mention performing at the historical venue B.B. Kings Blues Club has become) we were also presented with a Band Menu along with the industry standard complimentary cold cut tray and fruit basket so they also fed us kitchen food this time, and Delicious it was.

An energetic fun loving crowd makes all the difference in the world to any performing unit and we had a sizable one out on the dance floor twisting and frugging to an 100% uptempo high energy set of Thirty 80s classics. Billie Jean and Spiccoli rose to the occasion and kept the crowd wanting more while the band held down the fort.

The Call Box - 11/14/09 Brooklyn, New York

Photobucket

The White Wedding Quartet performed two sets at our home base the Call Box Lounge in Loverly Williamsburg, Brooklyn . Darling Nikki and Spiccoli were sorely missed but had previous engagements and what with this being a low-profile gig we went for it with Vim, Vigor and quite a bit of glee. A No Pressure Zone as it were.

Photobucket

The evening started with a Delicious Philly Cheese Steak Hero, I was apprehensive upon watching them Grill my Sandwich and only using two Slices of Cheese but it was totally fine & Cheesy.

Rembrandt's/Doc Brown & Kristine's Birthday Bash - 10/10/09 Long Island, New York

Photobucket

Photobucket

Our most recent showcase at Rembrandt's went very well Indeed. 'Twas a festive occasion as we celebrated Doc Brown and Kristine's birthdays with Rockin' 80s tunes, Flowing Booze at the bar and some Killer Red Velvet Cake courtesy of Kristine's mom. We also took some props to this gig on their maiden voyage to enhance the kitsch and fun of it all and there was much rejoicing.

Great gig, Decent sound (That Bass Drum Kicked Like A Mutha!!!)

We had a return engagement at D.J. Riders and got to work with Darcy our inhouse P.A. tech once again, and always a pleasure. An appreciative crowd of mostly people who just wandered in (even though I did see some 80s Flair and Fashion Floating Flauntily Festively Forward) We did get to take some pics for our Glorious website however (WHITEWEDDINGBAND.COM) and Doc Brown will be posting some shortly as well as tidying up the joint and preparing more Seitanic dishes.

The Riviera 9/12/09 Long Island, New York

Photobucket

Kudos to our newest dynamic member Spicoli for learning 18 songs in a record 3 weeks and coming out to perform with us at the Riviera for a private event, private event also entails very little photo documentation of a gig since that would just be unprofessional and why would I want a bunch of photos of people I dont know taking up space in my camera in any case.

So we have a few of the band setting up the gear.

We did have the pleasure of performing two sets and witnessed Almost Cher (www.almostcher.com) entertaining the crowd which we've been looking forward to for a couple of weeks now.

A Very nice room, decent sized drinks and some antipasto was had by all.

There were Vultures Too

Pride For Youth/Band Camp 8/28-29/09 Long Island,New York

Photobucket

Who says Rock Music is just for kids. I CERTAINLY DO.

We Did not know what to expect performing for the Pride For Youth Organization considering that most members werent even born until after the 1980's had come and gone but were greeted as conquering guitar heroes (a la Doc Brown) and treated to hearty applause (pronounced screaming) and many modern dance gyrations. This was an energetic crowd Full of Vim,Vigor and Proud Youthfulness, Kids In America Indeed!!!
