The Call Box - 11/14/09 Brooklyn, New York
The White Wedding Quartet performed two sets at our home base the Call Box Lounge in Loverly Williamsburg, Brooklyn . Darling Nikki and Spiccoli were sorely missed but had previous engagements and what with this being a low-profile gig we went for it with Vim, Vigor and quite a bit of glee. A No Pressure Zone as it were.
The evening started with a Delicious Philly Cheese Steak Hero, I was apprehensive upon watching them Grill my Sandwich and only using two Slices of Cheese but it was totally fine & Cheesy.

Rembrandt's/Doc Brown & Kristine's Birthday Bash - 10/10/09 Long Island, New York
Our most recent showcase at Rembrandt's went very well Indeed. 'Twas a festive occasion as we celebrated Doc Brown and Kristine's birthdays with Rockin' 80s tunes, Flowing Booze at the bar and some Killer Red Velvet Cake courtesy of Kristine's mom. We also took some props to this gig on their maiden voyage to enhance the kitsch and fun of it all and there was much rejoicing.

Great gig, Decent sound (That Bass Drum Kicked Like A Mutha!!!)
We had a return engagement at D.J. Riders and got to work with Darcy our inhouse P.A. tech once again, and always a pleasure. An appreciative crowd of mostly people who just wandered in (even though I did see some 80s Flair and Fashion Floating Flauntily Festively Forward) We did get to take some pics for our Glorious website however (WHITEWEDDINGBAND.COM) and Doc Brown will be posting some shortly as well as tidying up the joint and preparing more Seitanic dishes.
We Deliver Choreographed Crowd Pleasing Antics as well (C.C.P.A.)
Pardon The Linda Blair Glare, Care Bear.

The Riviera 9/12/09 Long Island, New York
Kudos to our newest dynamic member Spicoli for learning 18 songs in a record 3 weeks and coming out to perform with us at the Riviera for a private event, private event also entails very little photo documentation of a gig since that would just be unprofessional and why would I want a bunch of photos of people I dont know taking up space in my camera in any case.
So we have a few of the band setting up the gear.
We did have the pleasure of performing two sets and witnessed Almost Cher (www.almostcher.com) entertaining the crowd which we've been looking forward to for a couple of weeks now.
A Very nice room, decent sized drinks and some antipasto was had by all.
There were Vultures Too
(L to R) Doc Brown, Billie Jean, Animal, Almost Cher, Diamond Dave, Darling Nikki, Spicoli
After a gig nothing hits the spot like some Cheese.
Ummm.... How is this the first time I'm trying Boursin Gournay Cheese? Fantastic!!!
The Water Crackers aint too shabby neither.

Pride For Youth/Band Camp 8/28-29/09 Long Island,New York
Who says Rock Music is just for kids. I CERTAINLY DO.
We Did not know what to expect performing for the Pride For Youth Organization considering that most members werent even born until after the 1980's had come and gone but were greeted as conquering guitar heroes (a la Doc Brown) and treated to hearty applause (pronounced screaming) and many modern dance gyrations. This was an energetic crowd Full of Vim,Vigor and Proud Youthfulness, Kids In America Indeed!!!
ZOMBIES!!!
Driven To Tears By Karaoke.
Back at the NikkiBrown Compound we got down to our usual Karaoke antic's which causes thing's like THIS to happen.
{You're a Blast Gabriel!!!}
Doc Brown prepared a wonderful Seitanic dinner for us at weekend's end consisting of Seitan-Kebabs, Fresh Corn, Bakeh Dah Beans and Olive Bastard Bread with Oil Dipping Sauce a la Doc.

B.B. Kings 8/14/09 New York City
When it comes to performing Live Music in New York City there's probably about Five rooms that really matter and B.B. Kings is certainly one of them. Their Tech staff is always accommodating and a pleasure to work with making sure the band is comfortable with monitor levels and mic positioning.
The room is Beautiful and we pulled in quite the lively dancing and VERY UP 80s minded audience ready for some frolic and cavortment.
When the pressure is on Im very proud of all my band mates as I must say we did quite a good job keeping our crowd moving and screaming for more. I would Love to do it every week, fingers crossed.

Rembrandt's Bar & Grill 8/01/09 Hicksville, Long Island
We had a nice crowd at Rembrandt's Bar and Grill singing along and dancing to their favorites (Who knew there were so many Prince fans in Hicksville?) Thanks to the Coors girls for the illuminated Translucent Coors Light Flip Flop pendant and to the pub owner for telling me "You dont LOOK like your in the band" slyly.
Before my nearly disastrous commute I stopped off at Gyro ll (where the heck is Gyro One anyways?) to pick up an overpriced average Gyro with the works. Take my advice you get the same flavor and value for cheaper at the Halal carts scattered all about the city. Props to Gyro ll for remaining a mainstay in this city's ever changing architecture, No Offense Intended.

Dive Bar/Althea's Birthday Bash 7/18/09 New York City
Having a receptive and actively mobile (spelled Dancing) audience is infectious to any gigging band and thats precisely what we got at the Dive Bar for Althea's birthday celebration pleasing us and enhancing our own playing abilities as individuals and a unit, I cant see much from my vantage point but boy did I hear it. Always a pleasure to perform for an energetic crowd. After the gig I sampled some Delicious Chicken Fingers, they were Chickeny and they were Fingery nice Honey Mustard Sauce too. Thanks Taylor for being a lovely and attentive host.

Adventureland Amusement Park 7/4/09 Long Island, New York
Not only did we get a chance to perform for an all ages family crowd on the Fourth of July but were also asked to supply ourselves for our very first "meet and greet" and special thanks to the four patrons who did. It was a pleasure performing at Adventureland in the shade of the rollercoaster and adding to the already festive atmosphere with some Rockin' 80s Tunes. Thanks for taking care of us Sonny. Pre-gig I just had to have a Cheeseburger from Roy Rogers (It must be 20 years since now) and boy was that a disappointment, Average fries and the smallest $8.55 Burger I have yet to see, I had mine with Horseradish which was kinda spicytastycoolioroni though. However, with such a paltry Burger weight next time make mine a Quadruple.

DJ Riders 6/13/09 Long Island, New York
Aside from the drummer starting the opening cadence and for that matter the whole first verse of "Walking on Sunshine" with a completely alien drum pattern in the wrong time signature it was bizness as usual for the newly christened White Wedding (formerly of and was the Airwaves) However my Horrific commute was a different matter altogether. Puppet show, Spinal Tap
Special thanks to Darcy for being a considerate sound technician and very professional Indeed.
